Home Health

Major Payer: Medicare



Services Offered: Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Social Services, Home Health Aide



Consumer Needs: Qualifications for medicare home health may include short-term care (usually several weeks a month), acute needs for exacerbation of an illness, or care after surgery. A medicare patient must be home-bound for the duration of care. Services ordered by a physician may be provided on a part-time or on an intermittent basis.

Consumer Needs: No limit on amount or duration of time in the home (determined by the patient and/or family) No criteria needed to obtain care No Physician order needed for aide giving personal, homemaker or respite care

Agency Criteria: NO license issued in MO for this type of company
